Welcome to Himawari Clinic
Himawari Clinic provides medical care in Kampo Internal Medicine, Allergy Care, and Otolaryngology (ENT).
We aim to provide careful, patient-centered medical care for people in our community.
Our doctor can communicate in everyday English and also speaks basic German.
For complicated medical explanations, please speak slowly and use simple expressions. You are also welcome to bring an interpreter.

🌿 Kampo Medicine
We provide Kampo (traditional Japanese herbal medicine) treatment based on each patient's symptoms and constitution.
Whenever possible, we first consider treatment covered by Japanese health insurance.
Private Kampo consultation is also available for patients who request treatment outside the scope of Japanese health insurance.

We provide medical care for common allergic conditions, including:

Patients requiring specialized or emergency treatment may be referred to an appropriate hospital.
👂 Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT)
We provide general ENT care for conditions such as:

Ear discomfort

Hearing problems

Dizziness and vertigo
For conditions requiring advanced examinations, procedures, or emergency treatment, we may refer you to a specialized hospital.
😴 Snoring & Sleep Apnea
We provide screening and medical evaluation for snoring and suspected obstructive sleep apnea (OSA).
CPAP therapy is available when medically indicated.
🌡️ Patients With Fever or Cold Symptoms
Patients with fever, cough, sore throat, or other symptoms of infection may be asked to wait and receive medical care in their car or outside the clinic to reduce the risk of infection.
Please call us before coming to the clinic and follow our instructions.
Depending on your condition and the situation inside the clinic, the doctor may ask you to enter the clinic for examination.
🚗 Drive-Through Consultation
Drive-through medical consultation is available for patients with fever or other symptoms when appropriate.
Please bring:

Examples include child medical assistance certificates and single-parent medical assistance certificates.
💻 Online Consultation
Online medical consultations are provided using the curon smartphone app.
Clinic Code

The curon smartphone app is required.
The PC/web version is not recommended.
The curon app usage fee is charged separately by curon.
Insurance Verification
For insurance-covered online consultations, please complete the required My Number Card verification through curon.
If the doctor determines that online consultation is not medically appropriate, you may be asked to visit the clinic in person or another appropriate medical facility.
💊 Prescriptions
Our clinic supports electronic prescriptions (e-prescriptions).
When medically appropriate, refill prescriptions (refill prescriptions / リフィル処方箋) may also be issued at the doctor's discretion.
Please note that the doctor will determine whether a refill prescription is appropriate based on your medical condition.
❌ Medications Not Prescribed
Himawari Clinic does not prescribe narcotic drugs or psychotropic medications.
This policy applies to both in-person and online consultations.
💉 Vaccinations
We currently do not provide:

Influenza vaccination

COVID-19 vaccination
However, we do provide testing and medical treatment for patients with fever, cough, and other symptoms of infection.
Private Kampo Consultation
Private Kampo consultations are available by appointment only.

Initial consultation: ¥6,000
-
Follow-up consultation: ¥3,000
-
Kampo consultation only (no medication prescribed): ¥5,000
This fee is the same for both initial and follow-up consultations.
Medication costs are charged separately.
No appointment is required for regular consultations.

🪪 Reception Using Your My Number Card
At Himawari Clinic, your My Number Card can also be used
as your patient registration card.
Please check in using your My Number Card at the card reader at reception.
As a general rule, patients are seen in the order in which they complete check-in.
Please note that the order may change depending on medical urgency,
fever/infection control, or the type of treatment required.
After your visit, we will provide an information sheet with our consultation hours and website information for future reference.

A Times paid parking lot is located near the Lawson store on Shin-Midosuji.
From the parking lot, it is approximately a 5-minute walk to the clinic.
